Frames is a duet work for Monteros and Mochniej. It was conceived as a section of a larger work called Cells. "Cele" in Polish, or Cells, has a similar meaning in both languages, but in Polish it can also mean a goal. The work explores this relationship; a prison that is not a prison, a goal that becomes a prison. The duet could not contain itself to its original 35 minutes and has developed into a full evening work.

"There are two of them: Melissa Monteros and Wojciech Mochniej. Their dancing is concentrated, precise, sure and conscious. In frames, in borders, in cages and behind them: This dance is like scissors, like a knife, like a guillotine - but they escape the cuts through fluidity, liquidity and softness"
